A few words from Krystee Van Den Bosch

Compatible Placements is a labor of love that has grown up in the last 13 years. While we established as a service providing business in Winnipeg Canada in 2011, it truly began with me as a young girl. I was fortunate to grow up in our family gardens and farms in and around Brandon Manitoba, Canada. I always loved the smell of the soil in the spring, the little and sometimes BIG bugs, and have remained curious and forever fascinated by how seeds become plants & those plants become our food. In my teens & early adulthood I took advantage of any opportunity to learn and grow. My time at K Bosch and Sons, and Shelmerdines in Headingley, Manitoba were foundational in developing my skills in plant health care, and design work. It was also from this space that I launched into an education of arboriculture to better understand trees in both urban and forest environments. I enjoy sharing what I have learned with others. In my travels I have worked with trees and plants in different environments, and several parts of the world. This contributes greatly to the work that we do here. I believe in collaboration and co-creation with the natural elements, not apart from them. Our team is able to present options, consider perspectives and provide alternatives all while taking consideration of the environmental impact and respecting the individual care of plants and trees like we do our people.
